Election 2008 Canada – Oh Canada – Who Stands on Guard For Thee?

September 7, 2008

Well it’s election time once again in Canada.

Who will you vote for and why?

My advice is quite simple.

If any party or candidate says they believe global warming or climate change is a real and present danger-stroke them off your list.

If they so much as mention the word “sustainability”, stroke them off your list. Find out the real meaning of “sustainability” by clicking the “Green Agenda” link at end of post.

If someone mentions the above, they have just proved they are too stupid to lead this country, or they are lying to you, or both.  Even worse-they believe you are stupid.

The political leaders in this  election are traitors to Canada.
Do a little research.
For decades, all major policy in this country has come from the UN via Maurice Strong and friends.

The influence of Maurice Strong and the UN runs deep through all the main parties in this country.

A fact that is truly unfortunate for the people who would like to believe their elected representatives serve them and their country. They do not.

They serve their masters.

A future, built on the fraud that is global warming, is what you are being asked to vote for.

In the end this election will boil down to – would you rather have cap and trade or a carbon tax.

Regardless of who we cast our vote for, we lose.

The main outcome of the election, cap and trade or a carbon tax, was cast a long time ago. Who wins the election is irrelevant.
The best we can hope for in this election, is that no party gets a majority.

If there is an independent running in your riding, vote for them.

Take a look at their platforms

The Plan to Disappear Canada

The History of the Global Warming Scare – Birth of the carbon tax scam

Global Warming – The Real Agenda How many billions of your tax dollars were diverted from programs like health and education to fund the global warming propaganda machine. Think before you vote!

Sustainable Development – A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

Please, read the Green Agenda before you cast your vote.

Our education system sucks – thank UNESCO

Our health care sucks – thank both the UN and the SPP

Our agriculture system sucks – thank the UN, Monsanto, and Big Agra

Our manufacturing base sucks – thank the UN and trade agreements.

Most of all thank this and previous governments.

As George Carlin (RIP) said “they don’t give a fuck about you” He was correct.

This election you will be given a choice between a carbon tax or cap and trade.

There’s a choice worth going to the polls for.

Wind farm raises health concerns

March 28, 2008

research has suggested that those effects don’t cause long-term health impacts after people are no longer living near wind farms”.

Health Canada has never done a study of the health affects of wind turbines on the health of the people. I’ve asked, as have many others, both the Provincial and Federal Health Ministries why there hasn’t been a health study conducted. Now we know.

They already know industrial wind turbines are being placed too close to people and they know they have negative affects. Once you have been run off your property, the ill affects you experienced living next to a 400 ft. high wind turbine will disappear. Using their logic, there is no need for a health study.

Daniel d’entremont and his family were forced from their home. The good news is their health is slowly returning to normal. They can’t live in their home any longer, but who cares about a home when you have your health.

Your government doesn’t give a damn, it’s that simple.

Wind farm raises health concerns; No long-term effect, says Kingston doctor

Posted By Jennifer Pritchett

Kingston’s public health department will lobby government for more research into the health effects of wind turbines.

Dr. Ian Gemmill, Kingston’s medical officer of health, says there hasn’t been enough monitoring done to determine whether they’re harmful.

Gemmill made the declaration at a board of health meeting this week in response to residents who live near the proposed site of a wind farm to be built on Wolfe Island.

The citizens had asked public health to assess the health risks associated with the turbines, but based on the information that is available, Gemmill said, there is nothing to indicate that wind turbines have any long-term effect on people’s health.

“We haven’t got a lot of evidence to go on right now,” said Gemmill. Gemmill said that though there are concerns about low-level noise, appearance and stress caused by the turbines, research has suggested that those effects don’t cause long-term health impacts after people are no longer living near wind farms.

As well, much of the research that is available, he said, doesn’t appear to come from reputable sources.

“Our conclusion is that while there may be some short-term concerns, this will not have a long-term health effect,” said Gemmill.

Board member Vicki Schmolka told the board that she wasn’t sure that she agreed with Gemmill’s conclusion. She indicated that she felt there are health concerns associated with the turbines that the board should investigate further.

“Seems to me what we’re really saying is that this person needs to move away and they’ll be OK,” she said.

Schmolka, who is also a city councillor, asked Gemmill if he was comfortable saying that there were definitively no long-term health effects from wind turbines.

“I’m saying it’s reversible,” he responded. “I know that people are bothered by this, but the question here is when do we become involved.”

Wind turbine noise affects health

Letter from Dr. Pierpont to Kim Iles

February 18, 2008

Editor:
The Ontario govt. ie well aware of the problems caused by wind turbines. They are well documented. They know they are putting the health of citizens at risk. The govt. must stop this insanity now and they must be held responsible for their actions.

I would like to thank Nina Pierpont for her tireless efforts to bring these problems into the open. There are thousands of people around the world fighting the wind farm scourge. Fighting against governments that show no respect for their citizens. The fight will continue until the battle is won.

To all those who still think wind farms are about clean energy and fighting global warming – WAKE UP!

The whole thing is one big FRAUD

Dear Ms. Iles,

February 16,2008

Dear Ms. Iles,
Yes, there are indeed medical problems caused by noise and vibration from current, upwind, three-bladed industrial wind turbines. I am in the process of preparing a paper for publication in a medical journal documenting the consistency of these problems from family to family, the study subjects being a collection of families in several countries who have been
driven from their homes by problems with sleep, headaches, tinnitus, equilibrium, concentration, memory, learning, mood, and child behavior-problems which started when the turbines went into operation and which resolve when the family is away from the turbines. These problems all occur in proximity to recently built industrial turbines, put into operation in 2005,2006, and 2007.

The ear is indeed the most sensitive receptor for noise and vibration. This does not mean,
however, that if you cannot hear it, it cannot hurt you. The ear does more than hear. A number of the effects of noise and vibration from wind turbines appear to be mediated by
the inner ear, which is a complex organ, only one of whose functions is detecting certain sorts of vibration as noise. The inner ear also detects movement, acceleration, and position relative to gravity. Inner ear (vestibular) signals ramify throughout the central nervous system, influencing brain functions related to sleep, vision, hearing, movement, digestion, thinking, and learning and memory. My data indicate that one of the principal effects in Wind Turbine Syndrome is vestibular detection of either airborne pressure waves or solid borne vibration (via bone conduction), which is influencing the vestibular system as if the
body or head were moving, when it’s not.

Kirby Mountain: French Academy of Medicine warns of wind turbine noise
Setback
Based on these health effects and hazards, turbines should not be placed within 1700 feet of any road or dwelling. Those living within ½ mile (2640 ft) should be apprised that they are likely to experience very bothersome levels of noise and flicker, which continue […]

Health Care in Huron Bruce Gets a Failing Grade

October 8, 2007

 by Ron Stephens

The percentage of people in Huron Bruce without a family doctor remains at unacceptable levels. Why?

Both the Liberal and Conservative parties want to introduce private health care. Starve the system long enough and pretty soon private health care starts to look good.

If you want good health care you must demand it. Competing against each other for doctors by attempting to bribe them is demeaning for both the communities and the doctors, It is also a losers game. The solution I have come up with is very simple. Fast track the foreign doctors already in the province but not practicing, they are assigned a community and paid on a graduated scale until they reach full pay at the end of five years. With any luck they have become a part of the community and are happy to continue to live and practice in their new home town. It is important that people entering medical school are screened so that the ones who put health care ahead of money get the positions in the schools. Those doctors will be less likely to leave to chase the money. The doctors must be well paid, but money should not be their first priority.

Our health care system will never work if the powers that be continue to be allowed undermine it.

The Dangers of Wind Power

August 24, 2007

From the Editor:

Ontario and most jurisdictions in North America seem unwilling to learn from the mistakes of others. It is very easy to build clean cost effective electrical systems but our governments keep on chasing the wind dream. The dream will turn out to be a nightmare for the system operators, the farmers who lease their land, the people living near the wind turbines and last but not least the ratepayers who will get hammered with ever rising hydro bills.

The fields will end up as junk yards of rusting broken down turbines . The investors will come out on the good end because the wind industry is a tax scheme not an electrical system.

The report below should help you understand the reality of the wind industry.

[ News Watch Home ]

Wind turbines continue to multiply the world over. But as they grow bigger and bigger, the number of dangerous accidents is climbing. How safe is wind energy?

It came without warning. A sudden gust of wind ripped the tip off of the rotor blade with a loud bang. The heavy, 10-meter (32 foot) fragment spun through the air, and crashed into a field some 200 meters away.

The wind turbine, which is 100 meters (328 feet) tall, broke apart in early November 2006 in the region of Oldenburg in northern Germany — and the consequences of the event are only now becoming apparent. Startled by the accident, the local building authority ordered the examination of six other wind turbines of the same model.

The results, which finally came in this summer, alarmed District Administrator Frank Eger. He immediately alerted the state government of Lower Saxony, writing that he had shut down four turbines due to safety concerns. It was already the second incident in his district, he wrote, adding that turbines of this type could pose a threat across the country. The expert evaluation had discovered possible manufacturing defects and irregularities.

Cuba-trained US medics graduate

July 24, 2007

This is off topic but very important. The municipality of Kincardine with the help of Bruce County and spearheaded by the McGuinty govt decided that filling rural Ont. with wind farms is a good idea. IT IS NOT.

In the meantime 45% of our residents have no family doctor. They continue to starve the healthcare system while handing out billions to the energy companies. Cuba has its problems yes, but if such a poor country can make sure everyone has a family doctor then one must ask. What is wrong with Ontario and Canada in general.

Canada must be for Canadians first and and must not be handed over to the corporations. It will be your children and grandchildren that suffer because of your apathy.

Please comment

Cuba-trained US medics graduate

Students were offered tuition, textbooks and accommodation

Eight US students are to graduate from a medical school in Cuba where they have spent the past six years training to become doctors.

Their studies were fully funded by Cuba’s communist government.

Under the deal, students must return to their communities in the US to offer low-cost healthcare.

The students came to Cuba as part of a deal agreed between President Fidel Castro and members of Washington’s Congressional Black Caucus.

The stories of the six medical students are something of a propaganda coup with Cuba, a poor communist Caribbean island, providing free training to medical students from its arch-enemy, the US.

Foreign policy tool

Under the plan, Cuba offers students from deprived backgrounds full scholarships – including tuition, textbooks, food and accommodation.

The single condition is that they must return to their respective communities and provide cheap healthcare to those who cannot afford full-price healthcare.

Senior members of the Cuban government are expected to attend Tuesday evening’s graduation ceremony in the capital.

According to the Cuban authorities, more than 80 young US students are currently receiving training at the Latin American Medical School in Havana, whose qualifications are recognised by the World Health Organization.

In recent years, Cuba’s free healthcare system has become a key foreign policy tool for winning hearts and minds in the developing world, particularly across South and Central America and parts of Africa.

The government has sent tens of thousands of Cuban doctors abroad to help some of the world’s poorest communities.

It also trains large numbers of foreign doctors on the island.

According to the official newspaper, Granma, there are currently more than 5,000 medical students from 25 countries studying in Cuba.
