In case you don’t get the message in the cartoon let me help you out. The message is simple, Cull Humans. This is the message that is being presented to children. Humanity is bad for the earth and the human numbers must be reduced. I say this because when I read the comments on You Tube it is obvious some don’t get the message.

Toronto Star – Wind Farms

January 27, 2009
Toronto Star – Propagandist for the Govt.?
Update: Response I received from the Toronto Star editorial board when I asked questions about one of their editorials. (found below)
If you live in rural Ontario you may want to consider canceling the Toronto Star. They’ll take your money but they won’t recognize you.

Response to my letter to the editorial board of the Toronto Star. If you live in the Rural Ontario  you count for nothing.

Dear Mr. Stephens:
The “community” I am referring to is the Star’s community of readers.
Given that the Star is considered “the voice of the GTA” this would be
the community of readers in Toronto and the Greater Toronto area.
Certainly, many people in many communities would disagree with the views
put forward in this editorial opinion (as will any editorial). That is
their prerogative, as it is yours.
I will not be taking any further action on this editorial; nor will I be
providing you will “verification’ of the research done by the Star’s
editorial board as that is certainly not our practise.
I think the arguments put forward in the editorial speak for themselves
and it is beyond the scope of my role to question the conclusions drawn
in Star editorials.
As I told you, an editorial is an opinion based on the editorial board’s
interpretation of the facts at hand. While you may hold another opinion
I see no value in our debating these facts. I am not going to change
your mind about this issue and the Star’s editorial board is not likely
to reverse its position on this issue at this point in time.
Regards,
Kathy English

Kathy

I would like you to verify the research done and the content of the
research.

“This editorial view was arrived at after much research, thought and
debate by members of the Star’s editorial board, a group of six
journalists, under the direction of Editorial Page Editor Ian Urquhart,
who are charged with the responsibility of determining and expressing
the Star’s position on important matters affecting our community.
Because editorials represent the institutional voice of the newspaper,
they are never signed by the individuals who write them”.

I would also like someone to explain who’s community the article is
referring to.
I know many people, in many communities who would strongly disagree with
the position of the editorial board of the Toronto Star, including the
senior policy adviser for the Ministry of Energy and the ex-CEO of the
OPA.

I have invited the Provincial govt. to go through the information on my
site and point out any inaccuracies. To date, even though they are on my
site daily, they have never questioned or requested any changes.
I therefore request that your editorial staff go through my site as
well.

I want to know how they came to their conclusions.

The editorial board must be able to justify their position or it could
be considered propaganda.

Regards

Ron Stephens

Editor: The first casualty of war is TRUTH.
There is a war being waged against the rights of the citizens of Ontario by the environmental movement and the Toronto Star has become a propagandist for the movement.

1. a person involved in producing or spreading propaganda.
2. a member or agent of a propaganda.

I added the name of the writer to this article. Maybe the writer of this piece of propaganda didn’t want her name to be associated with such a piece of trash. I thought Tyler Hamilton (energy writer) could spew some garbage, but Ms. Gillespie has given Mr. Hamilton a new low to strive for.

EDITORIAL TheStar.com | Opinion | Windmills vs. NIMBYism
Oct 20, 2008 04:30 AM – By Kerry Gillespie

After three years of effort, a $300 million wind farm that would have brought green power to Ontario has been cancelled. This is the latest casualty of a provincial planning process that just isn’t up to the task of ensuring that the best interests of all Ontarians prevail.

I guess the people forced from their homes and those living in misery because of wind turbines, don’t count in Ms. Gillespie’s Ontario.(added)

The province wants the clean energy that comes from projects like wind turbines. So much so that Energy Minister George Smitherman sent a $60 billion plan on how to meet the province’s electricity needs for the next two decades back to the drawing board to get more renewable energy and conservation into the mix.

According to the senior policy adviser I talked to – 10 billion spent on a real electrical system, would have provided Ontario with cost effective, clean, affordable electricity. He says we are dealing with politics. Try running your home or business on politics. At least 50 billion will be unnecessarily wasted ,causing your electric bill to skyrocket, and driving business from the province.(added)

Yet time and time again wind farms and other environmentally worthy projects run into the wall that is Ontario’s outdated, drawn-out planning process. Some manage to make it through. The wind farm planned for a township near Goderich didn’t.

The delays in getting through the process are difficult enough – often amounting to millions of wasted dollars – but the real problem comes when someone, and there’s always someone, wants to oppose the project. The NIMBYists are able to use the myriad planning steps – rezoning, official plan amendment, council approval, provincial environmental assessment and the spectre of an appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board – as weapons in their fight.

As a spokesperson for the doomed Goderich wind farm said: “We’re a very conservative province, so it’s difficult to put anything anywhere.”

It’s not just wind farms the NIMBYists fight. They also oppose traditional generating stations. That forces Ontario to buy expensive – and often dirty – power from elsewhere.

And they fight urban “intensification” in the form of highrise buildings, which help curb sprawl.

In some European jurisdictions, municipalities are given the right to say where wind turbines can’t go. But they also have to say where they can go. In Ontario, it’s simply too easy to say no and hope to delay the project long enough that the developers give up and decide to give it a try in someone else’s backyard.

According to a  councilor involved in the Kingsbridge ll wind farm, he was told that any setback over 450 meters would not be tolerated. He was told to pass the setback or the township would be taken to the OMB and that the township would lose, costing the township $100,000. This, dispite the fact Kingsbridge l at 450 meters had already caused major problems for people living in the shadows of the turbines.(added)

The energy minister is right to call for more renewable energy. Now the provincial government must make sure its planning processes support that goal, even if it means someone may have to gaze upon a windmill from the living room window.

Because reality and truth no longer matter to the Toronto Star, I ask that you show your disapproval by boycotting the paper. Until they understand their duty to the public (seek and print the truth) they do not deserve your support.  I will be making a formal complaint to

Eugenics

Editor
I hope this helps you understand the WWF and the ‘green movement’ in general. The people and groups below fund and use NGO’s to convince you that ‘global warming’ is both real and a threat to the very survival of the human race. Global warming is neither real nor a threat.

Environmentalism  (for their purposes) has nothing to do with the environment and the sooner people understand this the better.

UNESCO has control of the education system which means these people have control of your child’s mind.

Are these the people your want to entrust your children to?

Meet the real threat to humanity!

.

.

Prince Philip’s principal collaborators in launching the WWF as a funding and worldwide operations arm of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, were Sir Julian Huxley and Max Nicholson, both ardent advocates of eugenics and racial purification. In fact, Huxley was president of the Eugenics Society when he co-founded the WWF. First, as head of the United Nations Educational, Social and Cultural Organization (Unesco), and later as a WWF founder, Huxley preached the need to revive race science and the urgent mission of “culling the human herd”–particularly of the darker-skinned races of Africa and South America. In the founding document of Unesco, Huxley had frankly acknowledged the difficulties he would encounter in reviving eugenics, in light of the Nazi genocide. “Even though it is quite true that any radical eugenic policy will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible,” he wrote, “it will be important for Unesco to see that the … public mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that now is unthinkable may at least become thinkable.”

The method Huxley and others devised for forcing people to “think the unthinkable,” was to replace the idea of eugenics with the idea of environmentalism. Huxley, Prince Philip, and the others, however, understood that, in their way of thinking, the two terms were interchangeable. During a 1960 tour of Africa, on the eve of the launching of the WWF, Huxley openly boasted that the ecology movement would be the principal weapon used by the British oligarchy to impose a Malthusian world order over the dead body of the nation-state system, and, most importantly, the United States.

It is no coincidence, in the context of Huxley’s remarks, that the man who helped found the Canadian branch of Prince Philip’s WWF, Maj. Louis Mortimer Bloomfield, would be implicated by New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Bloomfield, the wartime liaison of the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, ran the Montreal-based Permindex Corporation, the entity identified in the Garrison investigation as the hands-on controller of the Kennedy assassination plot.

The 1001 Club and Other Eco-Fascist Fronts

To further spread the work of the WWF, in 1970, Prince Philip teamed up with a former SS officer, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, already a prominent player in the WWF, to create a permanent funding mechanism for the growing number of ecology fronts being spawned, to scoop up the dregs of the late-1960s counterculture, and deploy them as the storm-troopers of the new “green” fascism. The 1001: A Nature Trust, known among its members as the “1001 Club,” was created as an adjunct to Prince Bernhard’s well-known Bilderberg Group, the Cold War-era secret society of leading North American and European oligarchical insiders–1,001 close personal associates of Prince Bernhard and Prince Philip were “invited” to join the 1001 Club at an initial fee of $10,000 per person.

The bulk of the members were drawn from the boards of directors of the leading Club of the Isles raw materials cartels, banks, insurance companies, and family trusts (the fondi). Typical of this caste were John Loudon, former CEO of Royal Dutch Shell and chairman of Shell Oil Co., who served from 1977 until his death as president of the WWF; Maurice Strong, head of the Canada-based Power Corporation, and one of the most important of the WWF operators; Baron Aubrey Buxton of Alsa, of Barclays Bank; Bertold Beitz, director of Alfred Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach Foundation; Conrad Black, chairman of Britain’s leading media cartel, the Hollinger Corporation; Peter Cadbury, of the George Cadbury Trust; Anton Rupert, of the South African Rembrandt tobacco interests; Sir Kenneth Kleinwort, owner of Kleinwort Benson, one of Britain’s oldest investment banks; and Henry Keswick, chairman of Jardine Matheson and brother of John Keswick, the chairman of Hambros Bank and a director of the Bank of England.

Maj. Louis Mortimer Bloomfield was a 1001 Club charter member, as were a number of notorious scoundrels, including swindler-bankers Robert Vesco and Edmond Safra.

By the time Princes Philip and Bernhard had assembled the $10 million war-chest, the first of the leading eco-fascist front groups and think-tanks had already been launched. In 1969, a Sierra Club official, David Ross Brower, founded Friends of the Earth, which, several years later, would help spawn such overtly terrorist groups as Greenpeace and Earth First!. The same year, WWF Chairman Sir Peter Scott launched Survival International, originally known as the Primitive Peoples Fund, which, three years later, spawned Cultural Survival.

In 1968, Aurelio Peccei, a former executive of Fiat (Fiat President Gianni Agnelli was a charter member of the 1001 Club), founded the Club of Rome, another by-invitation-only organization, to peddle a new, computer-age brand of Malthusianism. In 1970, with a grant from the Volkswagen Foundation, Peccei hired Massachusetts Institute of Technology computer whiz-kid Jay Forrester, and a team of his students, to prepare a report on the world population crisis, which was published several years later under the title Limits to Growth. Using a fraudulent concept of “carrying capacity” that completely ruled out human scientific discovery, Forrester and his students, Dennis and Donella Meadows, claimed that a combination of overpopulation and resource depletion would wreck the planet. The Club of Rome became not only a leading “establishment” lobby for every wacky environmental hoax; it launched the zero population growth movement, which has now devolved into a demand for drastic world population reduction–i.e., genocide.

PRESS RELEASE-Space and Science Research

January 15, 2009

Editor:

I want to thank Norma, one of our readers,  for sending this important press release.

Since I started this blog, over two years ago, I’ve been saying that Global Warming is a scam and so are wind farms. The idea of wind farms was to save us from Global Warming/Climate Change caused by CO2 emissions.

CO2 never was a problem, therefore, there is no need for wind farms – CO2 was chosen as the “bogey man” to scare the populace into accepting the NEW WORLD ORDER!

Global Warming/Climate Change is and was a false fear cooked up by the Club of Rome and the IPCC, both arms of the UN.

Global Warming/Climate Change, pushed by the many NGO’s, all spawned by the UN or UN affiliated agencies, is the vehicle being used to gain ‘Control of the World’ and put in place the “New World Order” where everything and everyone will be ruled by a group of unelected elites, if they are successful.

If you haven’t noticed, it has been getting cooler not warmer for a long time now.

Please read the PRESS RELEASE and understand the scope of the SCAM that is being perpetrated upon you and your families.

The time has come for everyone, and I mean everyone, to call, write, fax. e-mail and visit your elected officials and demand a stop to this FRAUD.

It’s time to fill your local halls and churches and make plans to take back your communities and countries.

The  dangerous gas is not CO2 – it’s the gas being emitted every time one of the “GREEN CULT” members open their mouths.

The choice is yours – Live free – or accept the FRAUD  as reality!

Read the Green Agenda – NOW!

Space and Science Research Center 4700 Millenia Blvd. Ste. 175 Orlando, FL 32839 Tel: 407-835-3635 Fax: 407-210-3901 http://www.spaceandscience.net PRESS RELEASE SSRC 1-2009 Thursday, January 8, 2009 8:00 PM Obama Climate Change Advisers Holdren and Lubchenco Are Told Global Warming Is Over Time to Prepare the US for the New Cold Era The Space and Science Research Center (SSRC), today releases a letter mailed on January 1, 2009 to President-elect Barrack Obama’s nominated science adviser Dr. John Holdren and nominated NOAA administrator Dr. Jane Lubchenco clearly stating that “…global warming is over; a new cold climate has arrived.” In this letter, SSRC Director John Casey calls on Dr. Holdren to immediately reverse course on global warming programs and start preparing the country for the next climate change. Since the early 2007 discovery of the solar cycles that according to Casey drive our climate over a period of about 200 years, he and later the SSRC have been on a mission to get the word out to government leaders and media representatives in order to prepare the US for the coming bitter cold era. In explaining the reason for this first press release of 2009, Mr. Casey says,” There can no longer be any doubt that the Sun has entered an historic period of dramatically reduced activity which will bring us many long years of deep cold weather. This was predicted by me and a few other scientists around the globe but of course we were not taken seriously because of the politics of global warming and the refusal of many media outlets to print or telecast alternatives to the now discredited man made global warming concept. According to national and international sources that monitor the Sun, what is happening on and in the Sun is nothing short of record setting, astounding, and at the same time worrisome. The solar wind is at its lowest level in fifty years. The surface movement on the Sun has slowed to record rates and according to NASA’s previous announcements is ‘off the bottom of the charts.’ Most telling is the current prolonged lack of sunspots between the normal 11 year solar cycles 23 and 24 which is about to set a one hundred year record for time without sunspots. NASA also has long since forecast that cycle 25 will be ‘one of the weakest in centuries.” All of these events in combination leave little doubt that a ‘solar hibernation’ lasting several decades delivering the coldest weather in over two centuries has in fact arrived.” In its last press release of 2008, the SSRC had warned President-elect Obama in its sternest language to date, of the coming cold and genuine apprehension about climate change campaign promises and recent appointments. The release expressed that such actions in support of anthropogenic global warming would create a punitive and restrictive atmosphere for scientists who oppose the belief that greenhouse gas emissions were the primary agents of climate change and that the ill-effects of the new cold weather without government assistance and preparation, would lead to a ‘worst case scenario’ for the American people. Director Casey repeated his long standing position on the next climate change with the comment, “The longer we delay the necessary nation-wide preparations for the coming cold era the more difficult it will be. If the extremist rhetoric of man made climate change advocacy takes hold in the Obama administration which at this point is at fever pitch, then the stage will be set for the new cold climate to catch us completely off guard and unprepared. This will cause many Americans to suffer needlessly.” He added further, “The Earth has been in a long term cooling trend technically for eleven years. The significant drop in global temperatures that also occurred between January 2007 and much of 2008 should have been enough for most observers to finally accept that global warming is over, except that this information was intentionally not passed on to the American people. Also and unfortunately, the Presidential campaign where both major parties continued to beat the drum of global warming and man made climate change only helped to cement in the flawed concept that mankind was more powerful and had more influence on the Earth’s climate than the Sun itself. This unbelievable idea has been pushed heavily by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). This and the previous press release are intended to be no nonsense, to the point pleadings for some sanity in our government and the main stream media that have failed to accept the new climate reality. Specifically, it was the Sun and not man that caused the past twenty years of peak heating and it is the same Sun that through a dramatic decline in its activity will now bring us decades of extreme cold climate.” In a closing statement Casey reiterated, “The global warming of the past decades was caused by the Sun. It is now over. It will not return based upon the SSRC’s research, for at least thirty years. It will then return only because the Sun’s repeating cycles of activity are scheduled to pick up again at that time. We should not waste another minute, another penny in controlling something that simply does not exist, namely man made climate change and global warming. It is essential for the welfare of all Americans if not the world, that in light of these new and startling changes in the Earth’s temperature and the profound changes in the Sun, that the next administration initiate a top-down review and redirection of climate change policy as soon as President Obama takes office.” Letter to Dr. Holdren

The Wind Energy Scam- Compare the Numbers

Wind energy unreliable, says E.On

Here is the request sent to you and your council by WCO ( Wind Concerns Ontario)

Honorable Mayor and Councilors,

The Ontario Provincial government has mandated development of wind electrical generators across rural Ontario communities yet has set the entire process in motion with no guidelines or information given to the rural municipalities.
They have downloaded the entire responsiblity to small rural communities who do not have the resources to deal with this new and complex technology in regards to planning and protection of residential and sensitive wildlife areas.
In the past few weeks, several municipalities are beginning to question this and are now asking the province to take some responsibility if they are insisting on forcing this onto rural communities.  (Please click on each link to learn more on what these communities are doing.)
FACT:   The Province of Ontario has conducted NO epidemiology/health studies on wind turbines and human health nor have they consulted any in creating their policies.

FACT:   In comparison with other countries in the world, the province of Ontario is allowing some of the closest setbacks from homes and families.    This allows virtually no protection from any health, noise or flicker problems.

FACT:  The Province of Ontario has refused every request to date (appox 19) to conduct a full environmental assessment – only proponent driven “reviews” (basically checklists) with no independent confirmation or peer review.

FACT:   The Province of Ontario has relied on CanWEA, a consortium and industrial lobby group for 350 wind companies to obtain the majority of their pricing, policy and information in regards to siting.

FACT:  Families in Melanchon have been bought out of their homes and then made to sign gag orders to stop any complaints.   Families in Ripley have been evacuated from their homes due to dirty electricity and stray voltage due to industrial wind turbines.  There are also complaints from the Goderich and Port Burwell wind farms and most recently, Port Alma.

FACT:   The Province of Ontario has downloaded the entire responsiblity onto small rural municipalities who do not have the resources to deal with this new, complex issue.

WHY?    So the Provincial government will be blameless in the end.

We urge you to please follow the lead of Loyalist Township, Dawn-Emphemia Township, South Algonquin Township, Prince Edward County, the Township of Norwich, the Township of St. Clair, the Municipality of Essex and the Municipality of Leamington in sending a message to the provincial government  that this is unacceptable.
No one but YOU the rural municipal Councilors and Mayors have the power to act.
Respectfully,
Maureen Anderson

And your response –
Sent to WCO website:
I am absolutely shocked to read so many comments here that are, quite frankly, totally irresponsible. Its hard to imagine how many people suffer from NIMBY in this province. Also difficult to believe that so many are in denial still regarding climate change. I have an idea, lets go with safe nuclear power, its not like we are leaving any problems with future generations like byproducts that we can’t dispose of. And, lets build more of these plants in the backyards of those people who would not like to have wind generators. We could give them the option of a coal fired generator in their backyard if they don’t like the nuclear one. Is this a fairer solution to you power wasters out there?? Sincerely, Councillor Roger Fuhr, Township of Perth South, Ontario.
rfuhr@quadro.net

Dear Mr. Fuhr

To offer the alternative of a coal or nuclear generation in my backyard is clearly not an option our provincial gov’t is imposing on myself and my neighbours having to face Industrial Wind Development.  What is being forced upon us,  is  plain and simply several  400 ft structures that are causing Vibroacoustic disease among residents living within 2 km of these behemoths. Have a look at Ripley, Goderich, Shelburne and now Melancthon.   In addition because there is no good regulation that can help municipalities site these fans on a stick properly,  wind developers are getting away with undersized transmission design which are leading stray voltage and dirty electricity into people’s homes.  The symptoms are described as living in a microwave.   I can see from your sarcasm you would boil that down to the NIMBY syndrome without so much as an effort to investigate for yourself. I’ve been to visit these people and it’s nothing short of a train wreck.

If the health issues are not enough for you,  how about sinking taxpayers dollars into an unreliable, non dispatchable, inefficient, miniscule amount of energy all to the tune of 2.5 x the going electricity rates.   In turn,  there will be not one fossil fuel generating plant closed nor will we gain  on the GHG emissions.  Looks like  your wish for us NIMBY’s to face a coal generating plant my happen anyway just like Germany is presently doing with 26 new coal generating plants despite having the largest penetration of wind energy.

We all want to do good things for our world, our families our communities our environment.  At first glance wind seems to fit in with these good intentions.  But now is the time to stop with the ideology and put good hard numbers and investigate this before it goes too far and hurts exactly what we are all trying our darndest to protect.
I beg of you Mr. Fuhr, stop accusing us of being NIMBY’s.  We are all deeply concerned citizens that are facing the challenge of a lifetime as well as a very real threat.
Colette McLean
Essex County landowner facing the threat of 30 turbines all within 2 km of my home.

Dear Ms. McLean:  I sincerely apologize for any offense taken by you for my comments. There certainly was no intent there to do so.  While I do not consider myself to be an expert in the field, your comment regarding lack of effort to investigate is absolutely not true.  I have been educating myself for almost 5 years now regarding such issues. I, for one, view the installations at Shelburne and etc. as beautiful projects indicating our desire to become responsible users of power.

Vibrocaustic disease is, in my opinion, not a proven fact,  and even if it was, it pales in comparison to the effects of nuclear accidents. I’m sure you have viewed the effects of the meltdown of the reactor at Chernobyl.  Which medical issues do you view as being worse?  I do not know of anyone who would want a nuclear reactor in their back yard.  And, I view the issue of leaving nuclear waste behind for future generations to deal with as absolutely irresponsible in every way, shape and form.  How long do you think it will be before these wastes poison our water, land, and whatever other resources that we do not own, but simply borrow from our children, would you like some of this heavy water in your well? Living near hydro lines of any type has been an issue for years, I’m sure you know that homes are not allowed to be built close to such transmission lines.  Why do you think that is, perhaps because wind generators cause this?  No, it is because electricity in the forms we produce it and move it, is not a natural occurence which is yet another example of how man abuses nature.

Do you have a microwave oven in your home?  Do you use it or ever eat food cooked in a microwave? Do you believe that such food is safe for human consumption?  If yes to any of these, then you are already near to, and consuming microwaved foods.  Are you prepared to ban microwave ovens from society?

Wind developers are hooking their equipment into one of the most antiquated transmission systems in the developed world, and so are generating devices of all kinds, such as coal, nuclear, hydro and etc.  It is the fault of our provincial government that our transmission system has been allowed to be outdated, despite the billions of dollars that have been poured into the grid over the decades.  Some of this investment has been absolutely wasted on such things as drastic cost overruns to build nuclear plants and also millions of dollars to get rid of executives within hydro one and related firms.  Are you pleased to be paying a debt retirement fee on your power bill?  Do you believe that any business should be allowed to make such charges to their customers?  The behemoths known as Hydro One, OPA, OPG and whatever other derivitives the provincial goverment can come up with, are totally dysfunctional organizations in every sense of the word.

Regarding electricity rates, I surely hope you understand that our power bills have been being subsidized by taxpayers for decades now.  Do you believe that the cost to produce electricity is 5.3 cents per killowatt hour?  If you do, try dividing your entire power bill by the number of kilowatt hours that you have purchased, this should be an indication for you of how they hide the actual cost of power.  I believe the actual cost of electricity should be paid up front, and that this actual cost of production is most certainly in excess of 15 cents per kilowatt hour.  Nuclear production of power easily exceeds that cost.  Even solar power, one of the cleanest ways to produce electricity, has been granted a 42 cent per kilowatt hour rate by the Ontario government.  Surely you must be able to deduce that 5.3 cents a kilowatt hour in no way, shape or form, accurately represents the cost of production.
I have to admit, that I am unaware of any such new coal fired plants being built in Germany and I would ask you to provide me with proof of such, I simply find this difficult to believe.  Is there a reputable website that you can refer me to so that I might research this myself please?  I know that Germany is a world leader in renewable energy, a model that we should be using in my opinion, so I will need to be convinced that this is actually true. If it is, I will surely want to research the reasons why they are doing this, have you done so?
In closing Ms. McLean, I want you to know that my comments here are not directed at you or any specific group.  Rather, this is entirely directed at the Provincial Government.  Successive governments have been irresponsible in matters of power production, transmission and management thereof.  It is time for us to stop downloading our problems onto future generations, it sickens me to think that we cannot as a society, be responsible for our own power needs without leaving a legacy of pollution, debt and perhaps total environmental disasters.  I beg not only you, but all members of the human race to start being responsible for the power that you use, or to stop using power.  Stop wasting it, conserve, educate yourself, commit acts of green.  But above all, please stop the propaganda machine that I believe the wind concerns website represents.  Contact a scientist to get their opinion instead.

Dear Ms. McLean:  I sincerely apologize for any offense taken by you for my comments. And yet you continue through  this message to further expound hugely offensive and ill informed statements. There certainly was no intent there to do so.  I beg to differ on this one.  While I do not consider myself to be an expert in the field, your comment regarding lack of effort to investigate is absolutely not true. My condemnation here is meant for politicians such as yourself who have the responsibility and the power to protect the residents of their municipality or county,  to find out from other areas in Ontario what is going on now with wind development.  We are going into our 4th year of wind,  and for some reason even local politicians are not investigating and are actually ignoring their residents who are suffering. I have been educating myself for almost 5 years now regarding such issues. I, for one, view the installations at Shelburne and etc. as beautiful projects indicating our desire to become responsible users of power. This is the problem,  wind turbines are only a symbol of our desires, not a real solution

Vibrocaustic disease is, in my opinion, not a proven fact, and because of your power to make this decision, based on exactly what kind of epidemiological experience?  low frequency noise generated by wind turbines (all it takes is a dBC scale reading to determine) affects people. That is a proven fact (check the World Health Organization site ) whether you want to call it VAD or Wind Turbine Syndrome.  www.windturbinesyndrome.org Until  we have a full epidemiological study no one will ever know the true extent of this issue.

and even if it was, it pales in comparison to the effects of nuclear accidents.  I’m sure you have viewed the effects of the meltdown of the reactor at Chernobyl.  When was the last time you heard of such a incident in Ontario after 50 years of Nuclear. Which medical issues do you view as being worse?   The choice is not between wind or nuclear, because wind will never be able to replace nuclear. Besides I thought wind was meant to replace fossil fuels?? in order to decrease GHG emissions.  Nuclear as you know does not contribute to GHG. Again how is wind going to address this issue in any significant way? Living near hydro lines of any type has been an issue for years, I’m sure you know that homes are not allowed to be built close to such transmission lines. and yet throughout the county I see houses within less than 500 m. Why do you think that is, perhaps because wind generators cause this?  No, it is because electricity in the forms we produce it and move it, is not a natural occurrence which is yet another example of how man abuses nature.  Are you suggesting we stop generating electricity??  You are not understanding my comment,  because of wind installations,  the issue of stray voltage and dirty electricity has become more of an issue. These installations are undersized and poorly designed and because wind developers need to hand over the transmission to Ontario Hydro (since they are  responsible now for the maintenance of this transmission system),  wind developers (the generating company) can walk away blaming the transmission problems on Ontario Hydro.

Do you have a microwave oven in your home? Yes Do you use it or ever eat food cooked in a microwave? Yes Do you believe that such food is safe for human consumption? Yes If yes to any of these, then you are already near to, and consuming microwaved foods.  Are you prepared to ban microwave ovens from society? No,  I  don’t object to using a microwave but I  have issues to living in one.  Your line of questions I find completely patronizing and irrelevant to the issues raised.

Some of this investment has been absolutely wasted on such things as drastic cost overruns (based on  concerns from citizens who oppose Nuclear, which pushed the gov’t to stop and start these projects over and over again I thought you were talking about the transmission system not the building of generating plants??? to build nuclear plants and also millions of dollars to get rid of executives within hydro one and related firms.  Are you pleased to be paying a debt retirement fee on your power bill? So are you saying that if I agree to wind development this will all go away? Do you believe that any business should be allowed to make such charges to their customers?  The behemoths known as Hydro One, OPA, OPG and whatever other derivatives the provincial government can come up with, are totally dysfunctional organizations in every sense of the word.  Again if I say yes to wind development,  will the dysfunction go away?  Mr. Fuhr,  you are simply getting side tracked by a very convoluted argument and problem.  I never said we didn’t have problems with our energy industry in Ontario but I just can’t see how wind is going to solve any of what you mention,  In fact,  I can see wind is only going to complicate things as well as increase the cost to us as consumers.  My latest hydro bill just announced that the recent increases where due, in part,  conservation measures and renewable projects.

I also know that Darlington and Pickering are being paid 3 cents per KW and they manage to pay all of their expenses, (including thousands of employees) and still maintain a profit.  Again,  if I say yes to wind development will my electrical bill go down? or am I at least guaranteed that it will not go up because of wind development? I believe the actual cost of electricity should be paid up front, and that this actual cost of production is most certainly in excess of 15 cents per kilowatt hour.  Seems to me you were just saying we were paying the actual cost, but it’s actually hidden in other charges. Nuclear production of power easily exceeds that cost.  Even solar power, one of the cleanest ways to produce electricity, has been granted a 42 cent per kilowatt hour rate by the Ontario government.  All because of solar’s cost of production will not allow even the 15 cents to be profitable. Surely you must be able to deduce that 5.3 cents a kilowatt hour in no way, shape or form, accurately represents the cost of production.   Therefore is it all right to continue to subsidize an industry for 20 years in order to maintain it’s profitability and in turn provide minuscule amounts of energy???
I have to admit, that I am unaware of any such new coal fired plants being built in Germany and I would ask you to provide me with proof of such, I simply find this difficult to believe.  I believe Muzzco Inc. sent you the references.  Is there a reputable website that you can refer me to so that I might research this myself please?  www.windaction.org I know that Germany is a world leader in renewable energy, a model that we should be using in my opinion, so I will need to be convinced that this is actually true. If it is, I will surely want to research the reasons why they are doing this, have you done so? The wind developers tell us that it is because Germany wants to make money selling electricity.  In the case of Alberta,  a new gas generated plant was introduced last year  specifically because of the large influx of wind they allowed onto their grid.

In closing Ms. McLean, I want you to know that my comments here are not directed at you or any specific group.  Did you not direct your response to Wind Concerns Ontario,  a group of 26 affiliates all across Ontario of concerned citizens, who are fighting for their lives with not so much as any kind of financial support other than out of pocket expenses for flyers, Internet services travel etc.  Rather, this is entirely directed at the Provincial Government.  Than I would suggest you direct your letter to Minister George Smitherman and Dalton McGuinty and not me or to Wind Concerns Ontario. Does this mean you want to shut down hospitals,  nursing homes,  manufacturing where people earn their living?  Can you explain to me how I am suppose to stiop using power?? Stop wasting it, conserve, educate yourself, commit acts of green.  But above all, please stop the propaganda machine that I believe the wind concerns website represents.  Contact a scientist to get their opinion instead.  I would suggest the same to you Mr Fuhr. Our groups has among us scientist, engineers, doctors and lawyers,  all expressing the same concerns about wind development.  We are not against initiatives that help improve wise use of energy, reduction of GHG emissions, or renewable energy sources.  We are seeking from people like yourself,  who have the power to make the decisions with regards to policy,  to make these decisions based on good science,  not ideology.

Simply wow, it is an extremely rare occurence to find a group of such narrow-minded, uninformed people as this.  After all the emails I have received in return, not in even ONE of them is a solution suggested other than, “I love nuclear and all of its poisons and risks”.  You people remind me of that group of individuals who ran around in, if memory serves, about the 17th – 18th century destroying machines of all types that people had built because they thought it would cost them their jobs if these machines were allowed to survive.  I am simply floored. I can see that there is no way to discuss this logically with any of you.  I do have a solution for you though, but guess what, you won’t like it. Hmmmm isn’t that odd,, offering solutions, what a concept huh?  SELL YOUR PROPERTIES, GET OUT OF DODGE, LIVE SOMEWHERE WHERE THERE IS NO WIND, hence no possibility of wind generators. Maybe right beside one of those cozy nuclear cancer causing generators that you all love so much. Shocked, (l’il pun there),,,,, You have certainly assisted me in my determination to spread the truth on this subject,, Thank you,,,,
.
Mr. Fuhr – after reading this exchange, in which you acknowledge your lack of knowledge on the subject, you should hang your head in shame.

But if you did, your turbine might fall off your head – and we wouldn’t want that.

At the very least you should offer a heart felt apology to the people you have gone out of your way to offend. You might also want to consider resigning. You have embarrassed your community.

Merry Christmas Poem – Time for everyone to Wake Up!

December 12, 2008

Editor:

I received the Christmas poem below via an email this morning, and it makes a legitimate point.

The boys at the UN want a ‘One World Government’ and a ‘One World Religion’ – and Christianity is not the one they want. Therefore it must be made to disappear.

Please take a moment to read about the future of religion at the ‘Green Agenda’ or watch the video on my side bar. ‘the UN and the Occult’

Most Christians have no idea what is going on, nor do they understand that their religion is being undermined via the ‘Green Movement’.

The ‘Green Movement’ after all, is not about the environment so much as it is a new religion. That new religion is Pagan-  based on the Earth Goddess Gaia.

Please understand – It’s the UN and its minions that want a “One World Religion’ – not the other religions of the world.

“Politicians of all stripes have sold their souls and they are being collected at the gates of the UN”. R J Stephens

Enjoy the poem and your Christmas!

*Twas the month before Christmas*
*When all through our land,*
*Not a Christian was praying*
*Nor taking a stand.*
*It might hurt people’s feelings, the teachers would say*
* December 25th is just a ‘Holiday’.*
*Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit*
*Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!*
*CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod*
*Something was changing, something quite odd! *
*Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa*
*In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.*
*As Targets were hanging their trees upside down*
* At Lowe’s the word Christmas – was no where to be found.*
*At K-Mart and Staples and Penny’s and Sears*
*You won’t hear the word Christmas; it won’t touch your ears.*
*Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-is-ty*
*Are words that were used to intimidate me.*
*Now20Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen*
*On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!*
*At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter*
*To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.*
*And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith*
* Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace*
*The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded*
*The reason for the season, stopped before it started.*
*So as you celebrate ‘Winter Break’ under your ‘Dream Tree’*
*Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.*
*Choose your words carefully, choose what you say*
*Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS ,
Not Happy Holiday!*

Please, all Christians join together and
Wish everyone you meet during the
Holidays a
MERRY CHRISTMAS

BLACKOUT BRITAIN WARNING – A Warning for Canada and the USA

September 10, 2008

IF you live in North America you better pay attention! The renewable industry is a sham. It is designed to wreak havoc on you and the economy. This is not by mistake – it was planned and now the plan is in full swing. Without reliable energy, you and the economy are screwed.

Unless you want to move to China or India.

BLACKOUT BRITAIN WARNING

Power cuts ‘could spark disorder’

Sunday September 7,2008

By Jason Groves

Britain is “quite simply running out of power” and blackouts are almost inevitable within the next few years.

This is the stark warning from the head of an energy think-tank who believes power cuts could be serious enough to spark civil disorder.

Campbell Dunford of the respected Renewable Energy Foundation  said: “It’s almost too late to do anything about it. Nothing will stop us having to pay very high prices for power in future.

“If we pull our finger out now we can limit blackouts but it’s going to be pretty grim whatever happens.”

Gordon Brown pledged last week to end Britain’s reliance on the “dictatorship of oil” but Mr Dunford believes the Prime Minister’s new interest in the security of energy supplies may have come too late.

Only last Thursday, National Grid issued an urgent call for power after a series of power station breakdowns. Suppliers were asked to bring all their available generating capacity online, including costly oil-fired stations.

In May, hundreds of thousands of people in Cleveland, Cheshire, Lincolnshire and London suffered blackouts when seven power stations were closed.

The electricity industry estimates it needs to spend £100billion on new stations to ensure supplies.

It criticises ministers for focusing too heavily on such untried renewable energy sources as wind and tide power, rather than making sure that secure new power generation was put in place.

The report concludes: “A near fatal preoccupation with politically attractive but marginal forms of renewables seems to have caused a blindness towards the weakening of the UK’s power stations and a dangerous and helpless vulnerability to natural gas.”

The REF warns that as many as nine million people could be plunged into fuel poverty, defined as spending more than 10 per cent of their income on energy bills.

Ministers are already under massive pressure to do more to help people trapped in fuel poverty this winter because of soaring prices. Up to six million families are expected to face a stark choice between heating and eating following the series of massive energy price rises that have made a mockery of Labour’s target to eradicate fuel poverty by 2016.

Mr Dunford said worse was to come: “Certainly we’re going to be heading to eight or nine million in fuel poverty.

“There’s a very real chance that power, will not even be there when you need it. That’s when you start worrying about social disorder.”

Ministers have launched a belated plan to plug Britain’s energy gap, including the construction of a string of nuclear power stations. power stations take up to a decade to build though and many experts believe the Government’s move has come too late.
