Fears winter death toll may rise

November 27, 2008

Editor: If you still think MMGW is a real and imminent danger – please give your head a shake. The warming cycle flat-lined in 1998 and we are now heading into a cooling cycle.

The global warming fear-mongers should be rounded up and jailed. The IPCC is a political body – not a scientific one.

If it were a scientific body, the IPCC would have been open to the input of the tens of thousands of scientists that are critiquing their conclusions.

Instead they refuse to accept any criticism or allow any debate on the subject. That refusal should set off alarm bells in the minds of all thinking people.

The IEA (International Energy Agency) via the UN wants to control and restrict the use of energy and through the IWRM (Integrated Water Resources Management) control and restrict the use of water.

They also want to control and restrict food via FAOSTAT (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations)

They already control the minds of the children via UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill …All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome.
The real enemy, then, is humanity itself

The enemy is not – global warming or C02 emissions – the real enemy is your govt., global corporations, the UN and their drive for total control over all commons, resources and people via the NWO.

Fears winter death toll may rise

The number of winter deaths rose last year

Fears are being raised there could be a jump in the winter death toll.

An Age Concern poll of 2,300 people found many over 60s were worried about being able to heat their homes because of soaring energy prices.

And with one of the coldest winters for some years predicted, the charity said the death toll could rise.

It comes after figures for England and Wales suggested there was a 7% jump in extra deaths last year despite a relatively mild winter.

The Office for National Statistics estimates said from December 2007 to March 2008 there were an extra 25,300 deaths in England and Wales compared to the average for non-winter months.

With this winter set to be colder than last, the numbers are likely to rise
Gordon Lishman, Age Concern

However, the figure was still some way short of the extra deaths seen in the winters of the late 1990s when death tolls nearly hit 50,000 as flu swept around the country.

Nonetheless, the country still has one of the highest rates of winter deaths – ahead of the likes of Finland and Denmark which generally have colder winters.

Gordon Lishman, director general of Age Concern, said this was a scandal.

He added: “With this winter set to be colder than last, the numbers are likely to rise. Pensioners are clearly more worried about staying warm and well this year.

“Yet, the impact of increased energy bills is causing thousands to risk their health by cutting back on heating.”

Emissions up in developed nations

November 19, 2008

Editor:

When did the UN become the rulers of Canada? or anywhere else for that matter. The UN and the madcaps that dwell there, want to rule the world. What does the UN offer? nothing of any value. They offer us phony global warming via the IPCC, brainwashing of the children in the schools via UNESCO, internationalization of our electrical systems via the IEA, internationalization of our water via the IWRM. The UN owns nothing and offers nothing – yet they want us to allow them to set the important policy of our countries.

If you want One World Govt. and One World Religion, jump on the UN bandwagon. If you still believe in your Nation State  and Democracy, then it’s time to roll up your “Freedom Sleeves”  and get to work.

Democracy is not a right and it can be lost, especially when our own governments are working to undermine it via the UN.

Emissions up in developed nations

Industrialised nations’ emissions are up since 2000, despite promised cuts

Emissions of greenhouse gases by industrialised nations rose 2.3% from 2000 to 2006, according to new figures from the UN’s climate change agency.

The biggest increases were in the former Soviet bloc – and Canada.

A UN spokesman said countries had to work much faster to avoid the possibility of dangerous climate change.

Next month the nations of the world meet in Poland for the annual negotiations on climate change.

The new figures do not offer a great deal of optimism.

They show that in 2006 emissions did actually fall by 0.1%, but the UN’s climate change secretariat said that this tiny dip was statistically insignificant.

The overall underlying trend since 2000 is up, even though the countries in question had promised to cut their emissions.

The worst culprit has been Canada. Its emissions since 1990 have shot up 21.3% – they should have fallen 6%.

New World Order

Insight: ‘Bretton Woods Two’?

By Bridget Kendall
BBC diplomatic correspondent

A deep-seated global crisis is often a chance to redraw the map, reflecting shifts in the balance of power in different ways.

First, the crisis can confirm or nudge ahead trends which seem to be happening anyway – like the shift of power from Western to emerging Eastern players.

Second, it can put flesh on reforms already in the air – like plans to overhaul the international financial architecture to be discussed at this weekend’s summit being hosted by President Bush in Washington.

No Oil Shortage – IEA Report

November 13, 2008

Editor: In 2006 the IEA stated that peak oil in 5 to 7 years. Nov. 2008 the same IEA says “there is enough of it to supply the world for more than 40 years at current rates of consumption”.

This is the same agency that pushed for bio-fuels and now says oops – bad idea. Burning food a bad idea?  Depopulation.

Another bright idea close the fossil fuel plants and try and run energy systems with wind. Duh!

When are we going to start looking after the interests of our own countries and forget about the UN.

The UN hates democracy – they love power. What do they want? New World Order, an end to democracy and the ruination of the industrialized world. The present financial crisis was planned just like the one in 1929. Look at the bail-out for what it is-robbery.

Peak oil was a scam and so is global warming as is wind energy. They create the crisis and then offer the solution. One scam after the other – slowly moving to a New World Order. They are making their final push right now. Are you ready to give up what’s left of your democracy?

“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” Maurice Strong

‘Energy Update’, November 2006 from the IEA

“The world is on a course that will lead it ‘from crisis to crisis’ unless governments act immediately to save energy and invest in nuclear and biofuels, the International Energy Agency warned on Tuesday. In an apocalyptic forecast, Claude Mandil, the agency’s executive director, said that our current path ‘may mean skyrocketing prices or more frequent blackouts; can mean more supply disruptions, more meteorological catastrophes – or all these at the same time’. The IEA said that the oilfields on which Europe and the US had come to depend to reduce their reliance on the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries would peak in the next five to seven years. These include those in Russia, the US, Mexico and Norway.

Energy body warns on oil prices

By Sarah Mukherjee

The IEA says increased exploration costs will force oil prices higher

One of the world’s leading authorities on energy supply says the era of cheap oil is over and prices could soon be back up to $100 a barrel.

The International Energy Agency (IEA), in its World Energy Outlook for 2008, says prices could soar as high as $200 a barrel by 2030.

The immediate risk to supply, it says, is not one of a lack of global resources.

Instead, it points to a lack of investment where it is needed.

Rising costs

The world, the report’s authors conclude, is not running out of oil just yet – indeed, there is enough of it to supply the world for more than 40 years at current rates of consumption.
